- Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up (including via Google OAuth).
- User-generated content: Tasks, expenses, notes, and other data you create within the app.
- Usage data: Basic analytics such as feature usage patterns and session information to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain your account and the service.
- To power AI features (e.g., smart input, chat assistant, expense categorization) by sending relevant context to AI providers.
- To send transactional emails such as daily reminders (if enabled).
- To improve the service and fix bugs.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate TidyLogs:
- Supabase – Database hosting and authentication.
- Razorpay – Payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store your card details; Razorpay handles all payment data securely.
- AI providers (Anthropic, Google) – To process AI-powered features. Only the minimum necessary context is shared.
- Google OAuth – For sign-in authentication.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and user preferences (theme, currency). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security on our database to ensure your data is protected.
